Sweet and Spicy Fruit Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cantaloupe or honeydew, seeded and either scoop out balls or peel remove from skin and cut into chunks
  • 5 kiwis, peeled and cut into 6 pieces
  • 1/2 small watermelon – seeded and chunks
  • 2 star fruit if available, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 5 peaches or nectarines stoned and cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon ground ancho chili powder or chili powder of choice
  • 1 bunch mint, finely chopped, optional
  • 2 limes or 1/4 cup lime juice
  • pinch salt
  • 20 wooden skewers

Directions

Combine all the fruit chunks, (except the star fruit), in a large bow and add the chili

powder, lime and pinch of salt.

Mix well and carefully thread skewers.
